Almaden Lake is contaminated with mercury and is one of the most polluted bodies of water in California.  As a result, the Santa Clara Valley Water District is considering major changes to Almaden Lake.  There are six alternatives currently being evaluated.

This project has generated significant community interest.  A number of informational meetings have already been held.  The next meeting will be on APRIL 17, 2013 at 7 pm at Joint Ventures Church, 6581 Camden Avenue.
