The
owner of an 8-acre hillside parcel located at the westerly end of the
Santa Teresa Foothills (near Miracle Mountain Drive) has applied to the
City of San Jose for zoning to allow the construction of an
approximately 6,800 square foot residence. Issues of concern include
visual impacts, geologic impacts, loss of trees, and consistency with
City policies pertaining to development on hillsides with slopes
greater than 15%.
