The Spring 2015 Santa Teresa Foothills Neighborhood Association General Membership Meeting will be held on the evening of Wednesday May 6, 2015 at the South Side Community Center.

Come to the meeting to hear more news about the neighborhood – and meet your neighbors!

STFNA holds two general meetings per year to discuss issues important to our neighborhood and beyond.  This is a great opportunity to meet neighbors, meet your city councilmembers, and during this meeting – to learn about the state of the city’s economy.  Come out and join us!

SPECIAL PRESENTATION:  STATE OF THE SAN JOSE ECONOMY & TRENDS SHAPING THE FUTURE

Do you ever wonder where the City of San Jose gets its funding, how San Jose compares to its neighbors, how we got to where there are continuous budget problems, and what is being done to improve the situation?  If so, join us on May 6th to hear Kim Walesh, the City’s Director of Economic Development, provide an overview of these topics.  She will also talk about trends that will affect future growth.  Kim is recognized for her ability to explain complex financial and policy issues in a factual, non-political way that is both understandable and interesting.  This will also be your opportunity to ask questions.
